34 Countries play for Rio Olympic qualifying points and to bring home the gold at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Qatar Open 2016

FIVB World Tour events counting towards the Olympic Ranking in order to determine 15 of 24 spots for each male/female category that will take part in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games!

Winning the gold medal in last November’s event was Germany’s Markus Böckermann/Lars Flüggen, marking the second straight year that the event was won by a team from Germany.

​The United States claimed both silver and the bronze medals in November as USA’s Phil Dalhausser/Nick Lucena duo was second and third was USA’s John Hyden/Tri Bourne.

AZ Entertainment Hub together with Lorenzo Medallo, Ice Watch Brand Manager announced to the media the official launching of “Reggae and Laughter” during its sponsored “Kick-Off Press Conference and Dinner” held last July 24 at Sinugba Avenue at Royal Riviera Hotel.

According to Ms. Ocampo, “Reggae and Laughter will be an evening of reggae music and an explosion of comedic chaos in  a One-Night live performance of Kokoi Baldo, the renowned “Bob Marley of the Philippines and Ms. K Brosas, the famous actress, comedienne, singer and television host at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 28 at Al-Sadd Indoor Stadium, Doha, Qatar.

“Reggae and Laughter promises a night of pure entertainment as Kokoi return to Doha with his new reggae songs set to enthrall his fans. Ms. K Brosas, will definitely bring the house down with her rib-cracking, witty comedy act and incorporating singing during her comedy act that will tickle the funny bones of Filipino audiences”, Ms. Gracie Salanio-Ocampo, President of AZ Entertainment Hub announces to the media during the event’s “Kick-Off Press Conference” with Lorenzo Medallo, Ice Watch Brand Manager held last July 24 at Sinugba Avenue at Royal Riviera Hotel.

                The “Reggae and Laughter” concert is the 4th major event of AZ Entertainment Hub, a premier Filipino event organizer in Qatar that brought Andrew E Live 2014 and Boracay Blast 2015. The “Reggae and Laughter” concert’s new chemistry of Kokoi and K Brosas aims to raise the bar of entertainment in Qatar where fun is defined as ENJOYABLE and where LAUGHTER will bring dose of happiness to every Filipino audiences.

Chinese megastore Dragon Mart has been up to the task on giving Qatar’s residents a completely different malling experience - bargaining with a taste of Far East culture. This Chinese mall at the Barwa Commercial Avenue receives an increasing number of visitors since its opening which started with more than 100 shops.

One of the big draws of the shopping complex, which has a larger version in Dubai, is its affordable prices. Also, shopping at Dragon Mart is like walking in a mall full of fun stuff at every corner. 

“The shopping environment at Dragon Mart is quite different. There are many small shops catering to the various need!. You can bargain for a favorable price," an Indian visitor to the mart said. 

Besides offering a range of essential products at low cost. Dragon Mart has also added a variety to Qatar's shopping culture, said a Filipino buyer at a furniture shop. "Unlike other expensive malls, there are many types of household furniture here at an affordable price. And, we can also bargain with the shop owner for a lower price," the Filipino expatriate added. 

The store, which was first launched in the Shangdong province of China, has a massive presence in Dubai, with a 150,000km space housing around 4,000 shops.
